Day 1 Marrakech - Valley of Roses - Dades Gorges

Departure from Marrakech in the morning by the Tizi n’Tichka pass and its villages melted into the hillsides. Several breaks along the way and especially at the top of the pass at nearly 2260m. Detour for a visit to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, dating from the 11th century and classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.
Walk on the site then depart to Ouarzazate before continuing to the valley of roses and a thousand kasbahs, Boumalne Dades, and the Dades gorges famous for its curiously shaped mountains. Visit. Dinner and overnight on site.

Day 2Dades Gorges - Todghra Gorges - Merzouga

Visit the Todghra Gorge, extraordinary cliffs 300m high, and impressive natural canyons of ochre and red earth. Small incursion in the palm grove, one of the largest in Morocco before departure to Erfoud.
Stop a little before Tinjdad for a visit to the oasis of El Khorbat and its ksar dating from the 19th century, beautifully preserved. Optional visit to the oasis museum.
Continuation to the valley of Tafilalet and the pre-Saharan Oases to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Departure on a camel ride (about 2 hours), dinner, and night in bivouac after watching the sunset in the dunes.

Day 3Merzouga - Tafilalet - Gorges du Ziz - Midelt

After seeing the sunrise very early, a new camel ride and breakfast with shower at the Atlas du sable hostel.
Departure direction Erfoud by the palm grove of Tafilalet, the largest in Morocco. Visit, then new departure direction Errachidia.
Stop for a visit of the blue springs of Meski, a former stopover of the blue men who gave it its name before entering the Ziz gorges and the tunnel of the legionary along with a series of fortified villages whose architecture announces that of the pre-Saharan oases. Arrival in Midelt. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4Midelt - Cedar Forest - Azrou - Fez

Departure direction Boulojoul and Timhadite before stopping at the lake of Aguelmame Sidi Ali, at the foot of the mountain of the same name in a pre-alpine landscape of cedars and oaks.
Continuation to Azrou, a mountain village that owes its name to the large rocky peak on which it is located, famous also for its crafts and jewelry.
Continue to Ifrane, little Switzerland before arriving in Fez. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 5 Fez

Visit the city and the old medina, the oldest in Morocco (8th century), characterized by the narrowness of its shopping streets always very lively, the refinement of its crafts, its sumptuous mosques, libraries, and Koranic schools, finally its gigantic gates that separate it from the new city. Provision of an official guide (optional). Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 6Fez - Volubilis - Moulay Idriss - Meknes

Departure in the morning after breakfast for Volubilis, the largest and best preserved Roman ruins in Morocco on a hill in the middle of fertile plains.
Visit the site and departure for Moulay Idriss, a few kilometers away, a village with white houses, a high place of pilgrimage in the kingdom.
Continuation to Meknes, former Alaouite capital nicknamed the Versailles of Morocco at the foot of the Middle Atlas. Visit of the city and the main monuments.
Provision of an official guide (optional). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7Meknes - Rabat - Casablanca

Departure for the city of Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. City by the sea, a walk along the ocean is essential, as well as the visit of its classified sites:
the Kasbah of the Oudayas, dating from the 12th century, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and finally the Hassan Tower overlooking the Bay of Salé. Provision of an official guide for a historical visit (optional).
Tour of the city and its surroundings, palaces, gardens. Departure for Casablanca. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8Casablanca - Marrakech (240 km)

The morning is devoted to the visit of Casablanca to admire the Hassan 2 mosque and visit it as well as the cornice overlooking the ocean.
Continuation for a glimpse of the Habous district and if the weather permits a stop in the small medina, the Mohamed V square.
Departure for Marrakech after the lunch break. Arrival late afternoon.
